India’s Nov crude processing, oil products yield rises

Mumbai, 21 December (Argus) — Indian refiners processed 6pc more crude and produced 3pc more oil products on the month in November as most state-controlled refineries operated at maximum or higher capacity and fuel demand picked up.

Crude processing stood at 5.25mn b/d in November and was up 3pc on the year, provisional oil ministry data showed. Oil product production of 22.34mn t last month increased by 4pc on an annual basis.

Compared to pre-pandemic 2019, the country's crude processing fell by 2pc, while oil product production declined by 1pc, the data showed.
