Offshore Marine Contractors hits 6000th successful marine operation

Rig moving company Offshore Marine Contractors (OMC) is celebrating the completion of its 6000th maritime operation.

And the Aberdeen-based company is on course to deliver 4000 rig moves, with demand for jack-ups and semi-submersibles “particularly high”.

Founded in 1985, OMC was formed to offer holistic rig moving, marine consultancy, brokerage, marine assurance and rental equipment services to the energy, renewables and construction sectors.
