(Update) Mikati chairs meeting on electricity conundrum, dispatches Energy Minister to Zahrani installations, meets Interior Minister and Central Bank Governor

NNA - Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, on Monday chaired a meeting at the Grand Serail, devoted to discussing the power outage.

The meeting took place in presence of Energy Minister Walid Fayad, Central Bank Governor Riad Salameh, and EDL Director General Kamal Hayek.

 Following the meeting, Premier Mikati has delegated Energy Minister Walid Fayad to head to Zahrani oil installations to inspect the fire that erupted earlier this morning.
