Government holds press conference to discuss power outage – Roya News English

Friday, the government held a press briefing to discuss the reasons behind the power cut that affected most regions of the Kingdom for a few hours.

The press briefing was headed by the Minister of State for Media Affairs Sakher Dudin, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Hala Zawati, the Minister of Interior Mazen al-Faraya, the Minister of Health Feras Hawari and the director general of the Jordan Electric Power Company (JEPCO) Amjad Rawashdeh.

Dudin said the government's main concern is that the electricity cut in Jordan will not have any repercussions.
