Kuwait has discovered two new oil fields: Minister

KUWAIT— Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) has discovered two new oil fields in different regions of Kuwait, the country's Minister of Oil, Dr. Mohammad Al-Faris, who also serves as the electricity and water minister, said on Monday.

The discovery of the two new oil fields is in addition to one next to the giant Burgan field, the country's biggest.In a statement to the Kuwait News Agency, the minister said that the first discovery was in a field northwest of the country, while the second in Al-Qash'aniya north Kuwait.
