Lebanon plunges into complete darkness after two power stations shut down – Roya News English

Saturday, Lebanon’s two biggest power stations, al Zahrani and the Deir Ammar, shut down due to fuel shortage, a government official told Reuters.

This left the country in complete darkness.

The two power stations stopped working after supplies of diesel were apparently exhausted and energy production dropped to below 200 megawatts.
