Saleh bin Nasser Al Ramahi, CEO of the Oman Electricity Transmission Company, highlighted the significance of the ‘Rabbat’ project, a cornerstone initiative in the electricity sector. This strategic endeavour comprises two phases, with the initial encompassing five stations. Al Ramahi emphasized the project’s vital role in fortifying the Sultanate’s electricity transmission network, starting with linking Al Wusta Governorate in its maiden phase. The project’s objectives include bolstering the transmission network’s sustainability, availability, and reliability, curbing operational costs, reducing carbon emissions, and fostering economic growth.

Al Ramahi underscored the project’s transformative impact on multi-sectoral development, anticipating increased foreign investments that would further propel Oman’s overall development initiatives.
