CMA reviewing prospectus of OQ Gas Networks

Muscat: The Capital Market Authority (CMA) is reviewing the prospectus of OQ Gas Networks Company. The prospectus is the biggest one for shares in Oman's capital market and would place for public offering approximately OMR212 million, representing 49 percent of the company's capital. The Capital Market Authority advised citizens and residents interested in this investment to open investor accounts with Muscat Clearing and Depository Company (MCDC), concerned with preserving the shareholders' registers. The prospectus directs the investors to the right investment decision as it includes the important information and details on the company's financial position and its vision for expansion, opportunities of success and the challenges facing the company and the company's ability to compete.
