Environment and sustainability conference seeks to tackle global challenges

SUHAR: The second international conference on environment, sciences and engineering which aims to shed light on environmental issues and sustainability challenges was held to look into possible solutions for environmental preservation and achieving sustainable development.Dr Said bin Hammed al Rubaee, the UTAS vice-chancellor said, "In this conference, we seek to provide an opportunity for specialists and experts to discuss and study the concerns associated with ecosystem preservation using various aspects of knowledge and science, including but not limited to nanotechnology applications, renewable and alternative energies, artificial intelligence applications among others"He mentioned that the current participants have been chosen out of 146 submitted abstracts, after a process of peer-review, following the highest academic and research standards to ensure the that the submitted research abstracts match the themes and objectives of the conference.Prominent figures like Dr Danial Orejon from the University of Edinburgh and Dr Eni Oko from Newcastle University delivered speeches during the conference.
