Marafiq meets partners at Duqm, boosts support to local community

Duqm: The Centralised Utilities Company (Marafiq), a joint venture, owned by OQ and Gulf Energy Development Corporation of Thailand, organised the first annual gathering with its partners from government and private establishments.

The event was held at the Special Economic Zone at Duqm (SEZAD) under the auspices of Eng. Ahmed Hassan Al Dheeb, Deputy Chairman of the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones (OPAZ).

In a press statement, Al Dheeb stressed that Marafiq Company stands as one of the companies supporting OPAZ’s plan to attract investments to the Special Economic Zone at Duqm through its package of services provided for industrial, commercial and tourist projects.

“OPAZ is joining hands with its partners in SEZAD to create an attractive investment environment for local and foreign companies to start investing in the Zone, which is witnessing continuous growth in the value of investments”, Al Dheeb added.
