Two fuel stations with charging facility for electric cars planned in N Sharqiyah

Muscat – The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning (MHUP) is offering two sites for establishment of integrated fuel stations in North Sharqiyah.

According to an official, two plots of land, each measuring 15,000sqm, are being offered for integrated fuel service stations in Ibra and Bidiyah, North Sharqiyah.

Bidders must be Omani, male or female, aged not less than 23 years at the time of bidding. The bidding company must have at least 30 per cent stake of an Omani or an oil operating company in Oman, the MHUP official informed.

Additionally, bidders must be registered through the electronic system – Real Estate Development Services Centre – using ID number or commercial register.

“The two stations must each include a building for restaurants, main services, restroom, an electric car charging station, shops, parking lots, a fuel filling station, and a car repair workshop,” the ministry official added.

The last date for submitting bids is June 8.

Establishment of the two integrated fuel stations is in line with MHUP’s efforts to achieve the objectives of population and economic growth, including commercial and industrial real estate units.
