Muscat – Oman Sustainability Week (OSW) commenced at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre on Monday with the aim of promoting sustainability as a crucial element in supporting comprehensive development, in line with the goals of Oman Vision 2040.

The event is being attended by senior government officials, ambassadors accredited to Oman, as well as several specialists, experts and technicians engaged in the fields of energy, environment and water.

The event will continue until March 16 with wide local and international participation.

Hosted by the Ministry of Energy and Minerals in partnership with Petroleum Development Oman, OSW is seeking to raise awareness on the importance of sustainable practices and preserving the environment while safeguarding natural resources.

The event aims to advance sustainability in the fields of energy and water, reflecting Oman’s commitment to creating a more sustainable future. With extensive participation from a range of stakeholders, including officials, experts and specialists from various sectors, the event is expected to attract over 7,000 attendees, more than 150 distinguished speakers and over 80 exhibiting companies.
