Norsk Hydro explores use of solar power at Qatar aluminium plant

OSLO - Norsk Hydro is exploring a potential use of solar power at its partly owned Qatalum primary aluminium plant in Qatar as a way to reduce the gas fired facility's carbon footprint, Hydro Chief Executive Hilde Merete Aasheim said on Friday.
