Qatar to host 21st global LNG conference

The LNG Events Series Steering Committee has announced that Qatar has been selected as the host country for LNG2025, the 21st International Conference and Exhibition on Liquefied Natural Gas.



Professor Joe M Kang, the Chair of the LNG Events Series Steering Committee, the International Gas Union (IGU) President, made the announcement marking the conclusion of a competitive process to decide the event's 2025 host.



Prof. Kang, representing the three owners of the event: the IGU, the Gas Technology Institute (GTI), and the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR), said: "Qatar's key role in the future of the global LNG industry and the innovations it has proposed for LNG2025 made it an ideal host for the world's premiere LNG industry event.“



This will be the second time this global LNG event takes place in Qatar. The first time was in 2004, when Doha hosted LNG 14.
