Japan’s JGC wins EPC contract from Saudi Aramco for Zuluf facilities

JGC Corporation and JGC Arabia, units of Japan-based JGC Holdings Corporation Group, have been awarded a contract from (Aramco) for the Zuluf Arab heavy increment central processing facilities. Under the contract, JGC will be responsible for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of the Zuluf facilities, according to a press release on Monday. The contract comes in line with the Japanese company’s objective to win more projects from Saudi Aramco and expand its operations in the Kingdom. Through the Zuluf Arab heavy development programme, Aramco seeks to meet the increasing global energy demand and boost its production based on an additional 600 MBCD of AH crude. It is worth noting that during the first quarter (Q1) of 2022, the Saudi listed company , higher by 81.76% than SAR 81.44 billion in Q1-21.
