‎MAWANI to build SAR 2 bln integrated center for fueling ships in Yanbu port

The General Authority for Ports (MAWANI) and Albanova International, in partnership with Taraf Alagar Co. Ltd, signed yesterday an agreement to establish an integrated fuel supply center for ships in King Fahd Industrial Port in Yanbu, in partnership with the Ministry of Energy, Saudi Press Agency reported.

The new center, to be on an area of 393,000 square meters, will have an investment value exceeding SAR 2 billion. It aims to establish tanks for storing, trading and mixing petroleum materials, due to the need of the petroleum industries for this logistical project and according to the operational plan in King Fahd Industrial Port in Yanbu.

The project will be constructed in two phases. In each phase, reservoirs with an area of more than 196,000 square meters and a capacity of 1.2 million cubic meters will be constructed, with an overall capacity of 2.5 million tons cubic meters.

King Fahd Industrial Port in Yanbu is the gateway to the Kingdom’s petroleum exports to the countries around the world.
