‎Non-institutional foreign ownership excluding Aramco down to 10.45% last week

Non-institutional foreign investors cut their ownership in Tadawul-listed equities, excluding Saudi Aramco, to 10.45%, or SAR 287.22 billion, in the week ended Dec. 15, from 10.52% in the week before, market data showed.

The ownership of non-institutional foreign investors is represented by swap holders, residents and qualified foreign investors (QFIs).

GCC investors' ownership in Saudi equities, excluding Saudi Aramco, dropped to 1.71% of total market cap, or SAR 46.9 billion in the week ended Dec. 15, from 1.75% in the week before.

Foreign investors’ ownership, including strategic partners, in Saudi equities, excluding Saudi Aramco, declined from 12.33% to 12.31%, or SAR 338.37 billion, for the week ended Dec. 15.

Meanwhile, institutional foreign investors, excluding Saudi Aramco, accounted for 1.86%, or SAR 51.1 billion, of the total foreign ownership in the Saudi market for the same week.
