‎Non-institutional foreign ownership excluding Aramco up to 10.56%, Gulf ownership up to 1.75% last week

Non-institutional foreign investors increased their ownership in Tadawul-listed equities, excluding Saudi Aramco, to 10.56%, or SAR 305.5 billion, in the week ended Nov. 17, from 10.53% in the week before, market data showed.

The ownership of non-institutional foreign investors is represented by swap holders, residents and qualified foreign investors (QFIs).

During the same period, GCC investors' ownership in Saudi equities, excluding Saudi Aramco, rose week-on-week (WoW) from 1.73% to 1.75% of the total market cap, or SAR 50.7 billion.

Foreign investors’ ownership, including strategic partners and excluding Saudi Aramco, climbed to 12.44%, or SAR 359.7 billion, in the week ended Nov. 17, from 12.39% the previous week.

According to data compiled by Argaam, institutional foreign investors, excluding Saudi Aramco, accounted for 1.87%, or SAR 54.2 billion, of the total foreign ownership in the Saudi market for the same week.
