Oman, Saudi Arabia issue communique on Crown Prince’s visit to Oman

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) on Tuesday issued a joint communique reading as follows: "Based on the deep-rooted ties of history and fraternity between the leaderships of the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and their peoples, in consolidation of their steadfast bilateral relations and, in response to the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, made a visit to the Sultanate of Oman on 6 and 7 December 2021. A round of official talks was held by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman. They explored aspects of joint cooperation and ways of developing it in different fields and commended the level of coordination in political, economic, military and security spheres for the good of the two peoples.
