The firm said,when operating at full capacity, the facility has the potential to generate 1.3 million carbon credits annually.

Cement and concrete producer said the facility initially produced carbon-negative pavers, having the potential to produce blocks, tile, precast and pour-in-place solutions over time.

This collaboration will generate employment opportunities which align with ROSHN’s goal to construct about 400,000 homes, 1,000 kindergartens and schools, and more than 700 mosques by 2030, said Partanna.

Partanna’s concrete formula, is made of recycled ingredients, notably brine, which eliminates the need for Portland cement and heat in production, said the firm. The patented mixing process releases new compounds that react
