Prices of 69 goods and services in Saudi Arabia declined year-on-year (YoY) in July, while prices of 96 out of 169 goods and services rose, official data issued by the Saudi General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) showed.

Out of the 92 food and beverages commodities, Al-Saffi yogurt reported the steepest increase of 33.33% YoY last month, while prices of local medium-sized potatoes saw the most significant drop of 23.41% YoY.

Out of the 38 construction commodities, three rose and 35 others declined YoY.

Prices of 8 fodder products rose YoY last month, while the cost of five other products fell annually.

In the clothes category, prices of seven out of 10 items rose YoY, while the remaining three products registered an annual decline.

Prices of three out of four miscellaneous personal products climbed YoY in July, while the fourth stabilized YoY.

Meanwhile, prices of four detergent products rose YoY in July.

Prices of two health services jumped last month, while the cost of the third service fell YoY.

As for maintenance and repair of personal transport equipment, one service rose, while the other declined YoY.

Prices of the two hotel and furnished apartment services rose in July compared to a year ago.
