Saudi minister unveils climate action projects during COP27

Cairo – Mubasher: The Saudi Minister of Energy, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, announced the inauguration of three new projects to enhance the kingdom’s national and regional climate action.

The minister's remarks were made during the second day of the Saudi Green Initiative (SGI) Forum, being held on the sidelines of COP27 in Sharm El Sheikh, according to a recent press release.

The Circular Carbon Economy Knowledge Hub

Saudi Arabia is launching the Circular Carbon Economy (CCE) Knowledge Hub to facilitate regional collaboration in CCE technologies, and share the information, best practices and learnings that will support the region-wide implementation of NDCs. This comes as part of its commitments to the Middle East Green Initiative (MGI).

A Regional Centre to Advance Emissions Reductions
