Consistent to provide 23% energy savings on chiller system ops at Anantara Hotel Resort – MEP MiddleEast

Dubai-based MEP consultancy and engineering firm, Consistent Engineering Consultants – which specialises in MEP design, green building, retrofit projects, and sustainable energy solutions – has revealed exclusive details on its project with Abu Dhabi's Anantara Hotel Resort at Sir Bani Yas Island.

In conversation with MEP Middle East, Consistent divulged that the scope of the project will include a chiller upgradation feasibility study via energy analysis and designing a new energy efficient chiller system focusing on better energy savings.

The project will include carrying out a nergy analysis, and designing a new energy efficient system accordingly.

As part of the project, Consistent will be working with a team of professionals from Dubai Air Conditioning.

Consistent revealed that the energy retrofit will provide an anticipated energy savings of 23% annually on the chiller system operations.

Commenting on the specific technologies and products used in the project, The managing director of Consistent, Sagar Kulkarni, said: “Energy efficient chillers will be accommodated in the available chiller foundation space and chiller yard area.

“The chillers are equipped with variable speed compressors, microchannel condenser coils, EC condenser fans, special condenser coil coating with 10,000 hours of salt spray test, low GWP refrigerant, and variable speed drive pumps.”
