DEWA’s empowers women to take lead roles in the UAE’s work

Dubai, UAE, 8 March 2021: Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA)'s strategy is to provide equal opportunities for men and women as well as empower women, from leading to technical positions, and this has made it a model for organisations inside and outside the UAE.

HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, said that DEWA follows the approach of the late Founding Father Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may his soul rest in peace, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; and Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, who is known as the Mother of the Nation.
