‎ACWA Power commences operation of 1st phase of Dubai’s Noor Energy 1 project

ACWA Power started the operation of first phase of concentrated solar power (CSP) with a capacity of 200 MW of Noor Energy Company 1 PJSC, according to Tadawul statement.

Noor Energy 1 project is the fourth phase of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park in Dubai, UAE.

The statement explained that the project’s total operational capacity reached 417 megawatts (MW) out of a total of 950 MW generated by CSP and photovoltaic (PV) panels.

The expected financial impact of operating the project’s final phase with a capacity of 950 MW will appear on the company’s financials as of Q1 2024.

According to data compiled by Argaam, ACWA Power owns 25% of Noor Energy Company 1.
