DEWA explores cooperation with UAE Ministry of Energy & Infrastructure

Mr. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), has discussed ways to enhance cooperation with Mr. Sharif Al Olama, Under-Secretary for Energy and Petroleum Affairs at the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MoEI), at DEWA’s Head Office.

This is part of a series of mutual visits to enhance cooperation between government organizations in the UAE. The meeting also aimed to learn about DEWA’s best international experiences and practices.

Mr. Al Tayer welcomed Mr. Al Olama, emphasizing the importance of consolidating cooperation and integration between the two sides across the clean and renewable energy and water sectors. This supports the directives of the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, to promote the UAE’s global leadership in all areas.

During the meeting, Mr. Al Tayer highlighted DEWA’s key projects to achieve the vision of wise leadership in providing state-of-the-art infrastructure according to the highest international standards.
