DUBAI, Jan 1: In a significant environmental move, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, has issued Executive Council Resolution No. (124) of 2023, announcing the prohibition of single-use plastic bags in Dubai starting January 1, 2024.
