Moro Hub, a subsidiary of the digital arm of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Digital Dewa), organised the “Powering a Sustainable Digital Society” forum and highlighted the importance of sustainable digital transformation.
The forum, held at InterContinental Dubai Festival City, focussed on the private and public sectors leveraging the latest technology and applications to deliver innovative digital experiences to meet their sustainability goals.
Mohammad Bin Sulaiman, CEO of Moro Hub, opened the forum, and it was followed by the insightful presentation of Samah AlHajeri, Director of Cooperatives and Strategic Reserve, Ministry of Economy on Sustainability in The Digital Age.
Digital leaders from Moro Hub, leading technology experts, industry leaders and stakeholders from different industries in the UAE gathered at the forum to explore trends shaping the new digital reality. Sean Patrick O’Brien, Head of Public Services and Healthcare at SAP, and Sherif Ghaleb, Head of Industries and Value Advisory, spoke about the next generation of Metaverse, “MEGAVERSE” and its future in the government sector and running a sustainable business in the time of economic challenges respectively.
