DUBAI, United Arab Emirates:- The UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE) has launched the second annual Climate Change Research Network (CCRN) Conference. Held at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) on 25th–26th May, the two-day conference focusses on the UAE's commitment to climate action and sustainable development, as well as creating an interactive space for scholars, researchers, and non-state actors to collaborate and strategize on many of the urgent climate change issues which will dominate COP28 in the UAE later this year.

The second annual CCRN is held within the context of the UAE's Year of Sustainability and as part of the country's preparations to host the 28th Conference of Parties (COP28). It serves to reinforce the UAE's broader commitment to the global sustainable development agenda and climate action.
