Sewa starts operating natural gas turbines at Al Layyah plant in Sharjah

Mitsubishi Power also signed a long-term service and maintenance agreement with Sewa to ensure the efficiency and stability of the power supply from the plant. The operation of the two turbines at the station, with a capacity of 1,026 megawatts, comes within the framework of the full delivery contract agreement for the Layyah plant project that Sewa entered into with a consortium of Mitsubishi Power and El Suwaidi Electric to expand the capabilities of Al Layyah plant in the Emirate of Sharjah.
