French President Emmanuel Macron thanked President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for conducting his first state visit to the country, reflecting the long-standing strategic relationship between the two countries.

Macron restated his condolences on the passing of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and also congratulated Sheikh Mohamed on his election as President of the UAE.

He wished the people of the UAE continued wellbeing and prosperity under Sheikh Mohamed’s leadership. He also thanked him for conducting his first state visit to France, reflecting the long-standing strategic relationship between the two countries.

The two leaders emphasised a joint commitment to expand their collaboration across all fields, working closely together to tackle global and regional challenges.
