With Japanese partner, MHAO Group pushes nanofiber use in sustainability

The MHAO Group also introduced nanofibers engineered for oil absorption and recycling. This solution helps address the challenge of oil spills and ‘pioneers’ sustainable practices for desert greening. ‘By repurposing absorbed oil for environmental initiatives, MHAO Group demonstrates a holistic approach to addressing ecological concerns,’ the company said in a statement.

In collaboration with UAE universities, the MHAO Group is taking on production of cellulose nanofibers from date waste. By transforming date waste into cellulose nanofibers, MHAO contributes to both ‘environmental conservation and the sustainable utilization of resources’.
