Abu Dhabi’s non-oil foreign trade amounts to AED 80.23bn in 5M

UAE - Mubasher: Abu Dhabi's non-oil foreign trade amounted to AED 80.23 billion during the first five months of 2020, the Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.





The value of exports and re-exports reached AED 23.20 billion and AED 14.79 billion, respectively, while the imports grew to AED 42.24 billion, according to the latest statistics of Abu Dhabi Customs.





Pearls and precious metal topped the non-oil export list with AED 6.27 billion during the first five months of 2020, followed by ordinary metal with AED 5.92 billion.





As for the re-exports, transport equipment led the list with AED 5.59 billion, while audio and video equipment ranked first among the imports with AED 9.65 billion.



Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia maintained its first place among Abu Dhabi's trade partners in the January-May period in 2020 with AED 17.91 billion.



At the same time, Abu Dhabi has completed around 434,647 customs transactions at that period.
