Abu Dhabi’s non-oil foreign trade hits AED 201.2bn in 2020

Abu Dhabi's non-oil foreign trade reached more than AED 201.2 billion in 2020, comprising AED 92.5 billion imports, AED 73.46 billion exports, and AED 35.26 billion re-exports, told the Emirates News Agency (WAM). Al Mansouri said that Abu Dhabi Customs completed over 1.093 million digital customs transactions during 2020. Saudi Arabia has topped Abu Dhabi's trade partners with more than AED 44.43 billion worth of trade, comprising AED 11.47 billion imports and AED 32.97 billion re-exports and exports. Al Mansouri further remarked that Abu Dhabi Customs has achieved 515 narcotic and drug seizures in 2020, compared to 1,790 seizures in 2019.
