Dubai’s non-oil foreign trade hits AED 551bn in H1-20

UAE – Mubasher: The total value of Dubai's non-oil foreign trade reached around AED 551 billion in the first half (H1) of 2020, according to the Dubai media office.

The UAE saw AED 320 billion imports, AED 77 billion exports, and AED 154 billion re-exports in the first six months of 2020, with a total volume of 44 million tonnes of goods.

Gold, diamonds, jewelry came on top of Dubai's commodities in the foreign trade during H1-20 with AED140 billion, followed by telecoms with AED 70 billion, motors with AED 25.6 billion, and petroleum oils with AED 21 billion.

Meanwhile, Airborne trade represented 45% of the total trade with AED 250 billion, while sea trade accounted for 39% with AED 212 billion.
