Promoting development of human capital boosts job opportunities

The Chairman of the Bahrain Society of Private Training Institutes, Mr Nawaf Al Jishi, stressed the importance of promoting the investment of the Kingdom’s inclusion for the first time in the Global Talent Ranking 2022 issued by the Global Competitiveness Center of the International Institute for Management Development (IMD). And the Kingdom rank in 35th place globally and is classified among the top 15 countries in the world in 13 indicators within the classification.

Mr Al Jishi said that promoting the progress of human capital in Bahrain is at the forefront of the advantages that attract investors and encourage them to open new businesses in Bahrain in various sectors and employ national competencies capable of understanding the local culture and the needs of the local market on the one hand, and meet the requirements of the regional and global market on the other hand.

“The Kingdom of Bahrain ranked fifth globally in the skilled labour index, which means the importance of directing more efforts towards developing vocational education and training, especially since this sector is considered one of the most job-generating sectors, and it is easy to replace Bahraini experts and trainers in it.” According to Mr Al Jishi.
