Work on new development project in Bahrain ‘nearing completion’

A much-anticipated integrated mixed use development project combining commercial, entertainment and housing in the western outskirts of the Northern Governorate is nearing completion.Al Liwan, in the Hamala area, described as a 'first-of-its-kind' project, is expected to open its doors early next year.Owned by Seef Properties, it is one of the integrated real estate development company's major projects, in addition to a portfolio including Seef Malls in Seef District, Muharraq and Isa Town.Seef Properties CEO Ahmed Yusuf said: "Al Liwan is unquestionably a valuable addition to the tourist attractions in the Kingdom of Bahrain, as it is the first multi-purpose project of its kind in the country, portraying a distinctive architectural breakthrough and comprising a unique combination of entertainment and shopping elements, in addition to various restaurants and cafes.“The 122,000sqm venture
