Jordan condemns construction of over 1,000 new – Roya News English

Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the Israeli Occupation authorities' bid to build over 1,000 new settlement units in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The official spokesperson for the ministry, Ambassador Sinan Al-Majali, said in a statement Saturday, that the settlements are a flagrant violation of international law, most notably the Security Council Resolution No. 2334.

Majali stressed that the settlement policy in its entirety represents a violation of international law and undermines the efforts conducted to achieve peace.
