Royal directives: Series of development projects launched in Balqa

AMMAN — In implementation of His Majesty King Abdullah's directives, Royal Court Chief Yousef Issawi, who is also head of the follow-up committee for the implementation of the Royal initiatives, on Saturday announced the launch of a series of Royal development initiatives in Balqa.

Issawi's announcement came during a meeting with dignitaries, youth and women representatives in Balqa, where he listened to their needs and demands to consider implementing them depending on the available resources, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The initiatives include the construction of 100 housing units for underprivileged families, chosen as per standards accredited by the Social Development Ministry, and the establishment of a factory in the governorate, under the satellite branches initiative, which will provide 200 to 400 jobs.
