40% of Kuwait Airport project ‘completed’

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 29: Assistant Undersecretary for the Government Center for Inspection, Quality Control and Research Sector, Assistant Undersecretary for the Major Projects Engineering Sector at the Ministry of Public Works Eng. Abdul Mohsen Khaled Al-Anzi announced the completion of 40 percent of the Kuwait Airport project, Terminal Building (2). He stressed the project is progressing in full swing to help achieve the desired goals since the airport project is one of the major developmental projects and will contribute in the desired development of the country.The project is the gateway to realizing Kuwait's Vision 35 under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad, and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled and members of the government. In an interview with Al Seyassah, Al-Enezi stressed that the project has not been affected by the reduction in the state's general budget, since a total amount of 400 million dinars has been allocated for the project for fiscal 2021/2022.He explained all sectors of the ministry, including the engineering sector of major projects, have prepared the five-year term plan until 2025 and includes the estimated cost to cover the expenses of
