Crown Prince commends role of private sector in development

KUWAIT: HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received on Wednesday at Bayan Palace Chairman of Kuwait Chamber of Industry and Commerce Mohammad Jassem Al-Sager and heads of the Arab and Gulf chambers of commerce. The representatives of these chambers are participating in the 59th session of the Federation of the GCC Chambers of Commerce and the 133rd session of the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture for Arab Countries.

HH the Crown Prince addressed the guests, relaying greetings from HH the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. He noted that leaders of the Arab states are doing their best to serve the interests of their countries and people.

“And they have been quite aware that cooperation and integration are the bases for growth and progress and that consultation is the key to reach solutions we all aspire to We are also aware of the vital and significant role played by the chambers of commerce and industry in our Arab countries,” HH the Crown Prince said, noting that these chambers have been seeking to revitalize the private sector amid hard circumstances and grave challenges, also facing all states of the world.
