House ‘grant’ for expat’s Kuwaiti wife – ARAB TIMES – KUWAIT NEWS – Arab Times Kuwait English Daily

KUWAIT CITY, March 29: An official source at the Ministry of Social Affairs said a Kuwaiti woman married to a non-Kuwaiti has the right to get the benefit of the house rent allowance as specified in accordance with the aid law not exceeding 150 dinars after doing a social research and if it is proved the husband in incapacitated and that she has no real estate inheritance or own any real estate, reports Al-Anba daily.

Regarding the mechanism of disbursement, the sources said after the concerned person submits an application to the Family Care Unit in her area of residence, copies of the rental receipts must be attached to the request, after which the concerned office will look into the issue and upon completion and confirmation of the entitlement, the report has to be approved by the Aid Committee for the money to be disbursed.
