KUWAIT CITY, Jan 13: In a recent milestone, Kuwait’s strategic water reserve has broken records by reaching an unprecedented total of 4,186 million imperial gallons. This marks an 11 million-gallon increase from the highest rate recorded earlier in the week, showcasing the nation’s commitment to water security.

Informed sources within the ministry disclosed to Al-Rai that a series of ongoing and future projects are underway to augment water storage capacity in response to the expanding residential areas. The primary objective is to fortify Kuwait’s strategic water reserve, encompassing key initiatives such as the nine Al-Mutlaa reservoir projects and reservoir developments in the Wafra and Na’ayem areas.
