Muscat: Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agricultural, Fisheries and Water Resources for Agriculture visited South Al Sharqiyah Governorate.A statement issued online by Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources said: "His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Nasser Al-Bakri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agricultural, Fisheries and Water Resources for Agriculture, visited the General Directorate of Agriculture and Livestock in Al Sharqiyah and the Agricultural Development Departments and veterinary clinics in the wilayats of Sur, Al-Kamil and Al-Wafi to view the agricultural and livestock projects, water resources and services provided by the ministry to farmers and livestock breeders."His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Nasser Al-Bakri took note of the follow-up of the national program for immunization of livestock, the availability of veterinary medicines, vaccines, and treatment services provided to livestock breeders in the wilayats of the South Al Sharqiyah.The Omani company for the production and marketing of white meat was also visited in Sur, as well as the model farm project for fig trees in Al Kamil and Al Wafi, which includes 6000 trees.
