Al Batinah Coastal Road Project: Over 90% of affected citizens receive cash compensation

Muscat: His Excellency the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning confirmed that the general completion rate of cash compensation disbursed to citizens whose properties were affected by the Al Batinah Coastal Road Project in the North Al Batinah Governorate has reached 90. 4 percent. The percentage of completion in in-kind compensation amounted to 93. 2 percent. His Excellency told Oman News Agency that the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning coordinated with the relevant authorities to complete the project for the remaining cases, estimated at 379 cases, with an amount of OMR 52 million.
