Campaign to clean coral reefs launched in Dhofar

Muscat: The Environment Authority (EA) has implemented a campaign to clean coral reefs in the Wilayat of Mirbat, Dhofar Governorate.

Environment Authority said in a statement :"The Environment Authority, represented by the General Directorate of Environment in Dhofar Governorate, carried out a campaign to clean coral reefs in the Wilayat of Mirbat for four days, with the participation of teams of volunteers, residents and the Arab Beach Diving Club. Quantities of fishing nets and other waste and plastic were extracted."
