Among the key highlights were discussions centred around augmenting services and municipal work across diverse states within the governorate.

The Health and Environmental Affairs Committee’s proposals took centre stage, aiming to bolster the sewage system’s infrastructure. Plans were laid out for extending the sewage network to historical residential areas, aligning with the demands of accelerated development.

Notably, deliberations unfolded on limiting expatriate workers in Sanad Services offices, aligning with regulations and governing the operational landscape. The Social Affairs Committee’s engagement with the Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Office provided insights into strategic social priorities.

Upholding the mantle of community well-being, the Council examined recommendations to intensify national efforts against drug trafficking. Plans were drafted for awareness campaigns, programs, and events to educate the community on the perils of drugs.
