Dhofar Municipal Council reviews preparations for Khareef 2024

Muscat: During its fifth regular meeting this year; the Municipal Council of ⁧‫Dhofar Governorate ‬⁩ reviews plans for preparations for the 2024 Khareef Dhofar season and its events, and proposals for developing some public services.

The meeting reviewed Dhofar Municipality's plans, its activities, developments and preparation for the launch of the activities of the khareef Dhofar 2024 season. In addition it also to discussed the proposals to facilitate the flow of traffic during the busy time of the year.

They also discuss the importance of utilising the water retained from Wadi Adoub and benefit from the views surrounding the dam. Pproposals to develop and organize work for public transportation services and activating the approved systems for taxi licensing was also discussed.
