Duqm Refinery EPC1 HSE milestone: Douglas OHI clocks 10 million man-hours without LTI – Construction Week Online

Omani contracting heavyweight, Douglas OHI has been demonstrating high standards of health, safety, and well-being for its workers, which has resulted in the contractor hitting a major HSE milestone of 10 million man-hours without Lost Time Injury (LTI) on the Duqum Refinery EPC1 project, as of February 2022.

The Sultanate’s $7bn (OMR2.7bn) Duqm Refinery is an integrated complex that is being developed through a partnership between Oman Oil Co and Kuwait Petroleum International in Special Economic Zone in Duqm (SEZAD).

According to Douglas OHI, the achievement was a result of its ongoing commitment to creating a safe workplace by setting high safety standards and ensuring operational excellence.
