Esnad System tenders worth more than OMR584 Million submitted to Tender Board

Muscat, 21 May (ONA) --- The Secretariat General of the Tender Board said that, during the first quarter of 2024, a total of 3,056 tenders were offered through Esnad electronic bidding system. The tenders, floated by establishments bound by the Tender Law, have a lumpsum value of more than RO 584 million.

The tenders deal with the implementation of development and service projects in different governorates of the Sultanate of Oman.

The projects cited in the tenders include the expansion of the Muscat Expressway, the establishment of Al Falah Hospital in the Al Sharqiyah South Governorate, the dualization of a road linking the wilayats of “Al Kamil Wal’Wafi, Jalan Bani Bu Hassan and Jalan Bani Bu Ali”, the unification of the Municipal System, the establishment of a commodity market in the Wilayat of Sinaw (North Al Sharqiyah Governorate) and the restoration of a road from Al Hazm to Al Washil in the Wilayat of A’Rustaq.

During the first quarter of 2024, twenty-two tenders were awarded until the end of the first quarter of 2024 to the tune of more than RO 136 million, compared to 20 tenders awarded during the corresponding period in 2023.
